I got Gackt's "Requiem et Reminiscence" concert in the mail today. -glee- Along with his breakout album, MARS.

I've been watching the concert like a loon, and for some reason, it reminded me a lot of his previous concert DVD, "~MARS~ Visitor from the Sky", probably because, most of the songs were from the Mars album in both concerts, because, at the time, Gackt had just been released from the hospital and was working on his next album, Rebirth.

There were a LOT of tracks from Rebirth on it, and I was glad.

Wow..actually, that's the whole album. O_O -DIES- I don't know why, but I got reaaaally excited when he played 'Kimi no Tame ni Dekiru Koto', because I wasn't expecting to hear it. XD I've only seen one or two videos of it on youtube.

The first part of the concert was serious. You could tell that Gackt was sick. D: His voice cracked towards the end of 'Sekirei' and he was shaking during 'Kalmia' and 'seven'. xD Although, I do love his little seizures. -shot-
Towards the 'Third Mission' section, everything lightened up, and I was genuinely happy to see Gackt smile and laugh. He was even joking around prior to 'U+K'. xD

'U+K' always makes me feel bubbly. I'm glad that he wrote such a happy song for Kami, even though the lyrics can be read in a sad way.
I was waiting for some fanservice. I didn't know what to expect from this concert. There was yaoi from the previous concert, so this concert had me intrigued.
His outfits were nice-the one that he wore during 'Sekirei' was my favorite. I love those kinds of shirts with no sleeves. xD But I only got to see a tiny bit of his bicep before he covered it up again. D: Curse you Gackt.

xD I always crack up when Gackt makes his fans scream with him; he always says "I love you." afterwards. It's cute~

It was a great concert, just amazing. The theme was quite interesting as well..Gackt was training to be some sort of soldier? He got whipped~
Which explains the 'Mission One' 'Mission Two' 'Mission Three'. It's very interesting.. >> << >>

All in all, it's quite a good watch. You can tell that Gackt's voice is still changing. It was early in his solo career, so he's still experimenting. I can definitely tell the difference between MARS Gackt and Diabolos Gackt. I really feel for him, because you can TELL that he doesn't feel well, but he's still performing for his fans. That's something that's just so.. -dies-
I really, honestly admire his strength.
